Most certainly yes. 99% of people, men or women, are candidates for Lazard hair restoration, since it is a minimally invasive technique, approved by the FDA and guided by expert doctors.
Schedule your assessment appointment to resolve any doubts you may have.
Results will not be ideal if your hairline continues to change, so any hair restoration treatment should be applied after hair loss has stabilized. But remember that hair loss does not discriminate against age.
It is important that you schedule an assessment appointment to resolve these doubts.
Age is not a factor with respect to this procedure. It can be performed on patients as young as twenty or seventy, as long as they are medically eligible.

Our innovative Lazard Robotic System is one of the fastest, simplest, and most minimally invasive methods of hair restoration available today. As a result, the procedure is usually painless. You will be seated in a specialized chair for your comfort and the nursing team will apply a topical anesthetic to the donor area to make you feel more comfortable during the process.
There may be slight pain or swelling after the procedure, but it will go away in a day or two at most. You can take medication such as paracetamol to relieve pain afterwards.
The exact amount of time for follicular unit collection and implantation is determined by the design of your transplant. The procedure can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. However, there will be time for you to take breaks and be comfortable throughout the treatment.
For the FUE hair transplantation technique with the Lazard Robotic System only local topical anesthesia is required.
One of the advantages of the Lazard Robotic System is that the recovery time is shorter than other restorative procedures. The small punctures where the follicles have been removed heal in a few days. You can gently wash your hair the next day and in about five days you will be able to wash it normally.
Since the robotic hair transplant procedure is minimally invasive, it involves no surgical incisions or sutures, so full recovery is almost immediate. Most patients can return to their normal activities within a day or two.
You will see significant growth within three months after the procedure. However, you will begin to notice the overall results of the FUE procedure in about six months, and substantial growth seamlessly integrated into your hair reaches its optimal result in about one year.
Lazard experts are available throughout the postoperative period to answer your questions. We can also suggest additional treatments to accelerate recovery and improve hair growth, such as platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP).
You will begin to see new hair in about three months, and notice significant improvements within six months. You will see full results after approximately one year, when the follicles have settled into their new location and are producing natural hair.
Since the follicles transplanted into the balding area come from a healthy growing area, the results can last for decades. Over the long term, hair that has been transplanted from a donor site, grows and thrives like natural hair.
You can return to your normal activities in two or three days, nonetheless the small scabs at the implant sites will be somewhat visible. If this causes discomfort, you can wear a hat or other head covering, or wait until the scabs fall off, which takes about 10 days.
The design of your hairline is determined by Hair Studio: a 3D digital model of your face and head that you can view before the procedure to see how the results will look. Thanks to this advanced technique at Lazard, you can choose the most natural and attractive design for you.
When the procedure is performed correctly, a high percentage will survive. The percentage is based on the technique used and the skill of the hair transplant specialist. At Lazard, our medical team, assisted by robotic technology, are experts in hair transplantation and the transplanted follicles are protected by our specialized robotic system.

Due to the fact that the follicular units are very small, and are removed one by one, as opposed to taking a large section of the scalp, no visible scars remain after this procedure. Small scabs will surround each implanted hair, but after approximately 10 days, they will fall off on their own or can be rubbed off and removed manually.
With this procedure, you won’t need to limit yourself to specific haircuts or hairstyles to hide marks—you can wear your hair as long or as short as you wish.
When your hair restoration treatment at Lazard is complete, you will be able to go home, as long as someone else drives you. You will experience only mild discomfort, if any, and in a few days you will be back to your normal activities. Most patients feel fine, can sleep normally and only need paracetamol to feel comfortable.
FUE stands forFollicular Unit Extraction. The term “follicular unit” refers to the group of one to four healthy hairs growing together on the scalp. In FUE, these units are individually extracted from the back and sides of the scalp and grafted to areas where hair loss has occurred, thus allowing for the natural growth of new hair.
FUE hair transplantation at Lazard offers several benefits, including:
- Minimal scarring because the incisions are very small.
- Small extraction sites heal quickly.
- You will have fewer restrictions on your activity during the recovery period.
- You can wear your hair as short as you want, without worrying about a scar on the back of your head.
- The postoperative period for FUE generally has less discomfort than the FUT method.
FUT is a procedure that surgically removes strips of scalp for transplantation into balding areas and leaves a linear scar that may be visible with short hair. With FUE, there is no need to surgically remove strips of tissue, since the incisions are very small and no scars are left.
The Lazard System, which uses the FUE method with robotic assistance, is even more precise with more natural looking results. Our procedure is especially good for people who have had multiple FUT treatments and their donor areas have been affected or compromised.
The cost varies from patient to patient, depending on the number of follicles to be transplanted. Some patients need fewer grafts, opting to restore only the hairline or fill in a small area, while others desire a more extensive restoration.

The good news is that sudden hair loss usually stops on its own. When your body consistently loses more than 150 strands of hair a day, you may have excessive hair loss, also known as telogen effluvium. This type of shedding usually occurs after an illness, nutritional imbalance or stressful event, and will end as your body readjusts to normal conditions.
Excessive drooping is a common problem for men or women who experienced any of the following triggers:
- Losing a considerable amount of weight (from 10 kg onwards) in a rapid manner.
- Experienced a high fever.
- Had COVID 19.
- Recently underwent surgery.
- Gave birth.
- Has a nutritional deficiency, such as anemia.
The good news is that, at Lazard, we have many options for women who are losing their hair. First of all, we will diagnose your condition to identify the cause behind the hair loss and advise you on the various treatment options available.
