Beard Restoration
Many men struggle with a lack of facial hair, uneven facial appearance, or a thinner beard than before. All of these issues can be addressed through beard transplantation. At Lazard, we understand the role that a beard plays in your appearance and are ready to help you feel confident in your image. Additionally, beard transplantation can be performed as part of a gender transition. There are no limits to transforming your look with the Lazard System.
How is beard restoration performed?
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and is minimally invasive. Guided by an expert from the Lazard team, hair follicles will be extracted from the designated area using the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique and placed individually to restore the fullness of your beard. Our facial hair transplant surgery can last between two to six hours, depending on the extent of the area you need to fill. This process allows you to either restore or establish a full, thick beard. What can I expect after beard restoration?
After the procedure, you may experience minimal discomfort, as well as small scabs in the areas where the follicles were transplanted. This is normal and should dissipate within one to two weeks after the treatment. There will be a normal shedding phase a few weeks after the transplant, and from that point on, you will notice your beard starting to grow and fill in the areas that were previously uneven or bare. You should avoid shaving or trimming your beard for 10 to 15 days after the restoration to allow the transplanted follicles to heal properly. Are you a candidate? Discover it here
Are the results of beard restoration permanent?
Yes. Once the healthy follicles are implanted in their new location, they will remain there and continue to grow in the future. You can expect to see significant growth within the first two months after your restoration procedure. If you want your beard to grow a bit longer, it may take four to six months to reach its full length. Are you a candidate? Discover it here
