Eyebrow Restoration

The hair that forms your eyebrows is different from any other hair on your body. In fact, as we age, the thickness and natural arch of the eyebrows can change drastically. Thinning eyebrows are a common concern and can be the result of:

  • Years of plucking.
  • Damaged hair follicles.
  • The natural aging process.

Eyebrow restoration at Lazard can replenish the appearance of thinning eyebrows to create balance and facial harmony.

Similar to the robotic hair restoration of the Lazard System, eyebrow restoration involves removing hair follicles from a designated area (usually behind the ear) and then precisely placing them into the eyebrows, creating full, natural-looking eyebrows in areas that have thinned.

The minimally invasive hair transplant for eyebrow restoration at Lazard is designed to create balance and beauty.

How is eyebrow restoration performed?

Before your eyebrow restoration procedure, you will work together with Lazard’s experts to determine the shape and arch of the eyebrows that best balance your facial structure. Eyebrow restoration is performed by extracting hair follicles from another location on the body and transplanting them to the eyebrows. Typically, the follicles are extracted from behind the ear to provide discretion. The follicles are then carefully placed in the new location. Each transplant is meticulously performed at the correct angle so that as it grows, it achieves a precise, balanced shape.

Due to the meticulous nature of our eyebrow transplant, the procedure can take up to six hours. However, rest assured that you will be comfortable throughout the procedure and any discomfort will be minimal.

What can I expect after eyebrow restoration?

After your eyebrow restoration procedure, you may experience some swelling, redness, or crusting. This is normal and should decrease within a few days. Although the newly placed hair follicles will go through a natural ‘shedding’ phase before starting their regeneration cycle, you will notice an immediate difference after your procedure, with results visible approximately six months after the transplant.

How can I care for my eyebrows while they start to grow?

We recommend gently brushing them upwards to encourage growth in the right direction. Applying a firm gel will also promote this growth. Additionally, you should trim your eyebrows every 10 days after the treatment.
