Long Hair FUE

The greatest advantage of performing the long-hair robotic FUE procedure is that any small scars that may remain in the donor area (back and sides of the head) will be virtually invisible under the healthy hair.

The long-hair FUE treatment is performed by allowing the hair on the back and sides of the scalp to grow beforehand. On the day of the procedure, the long hair is lifted, and a thin strip beneath it is shaved to extract the follicular units from there. Once the procedure is complete, the hair is combed down to completely cover the extracted donor regions. The longer the hair, the wider the strip can be, allowing for more follicular units to be extracted for the transplant.
